I am new to this DMS.Just want to know how can i delete a file/folder.

From the client XincoExplorer, simply move your documents/folders to the special folder "Trash".

Only admins can empty "Trash" to permanently delete data. They need to select "Empty Trash" from the server-side admin interface "XincoAdmin"!

If you don't want others to read your information while still being stored in "Trash", simply remove all access rights from them, except your owner rights.

how can one delete files on the demonstration server http://xinco.org:8080/xinco_demo/services/Xinco

I don't seem to be able to access the trash bin

Deletion is performed by signing in as admin in the XincoAdmin page. That access is reserver for Alex.

Actually anyone can log into the demo system's XincoAdmin using...
user: admin
password: admin
...and empty the trash bin.

So to delete data:
- use XincoExplorer to move it to the trash bin
- use XincoAdmin to empty the trash bin
